For 10 years (1997-2007) lawyer Milana Krivachka has worked as a government expert in the Law Directorate at the Council of Ministers in the areas of law mentioned above. At this position, she has actively participated in the working groups for the development of drafts of the Public Procurement Act, the rules for its application, The Ordinance for Commissioning Small Public Procurement, The Ordinance on the Terms and Conditions for Commissioning Special Public Procurement and their amendments, as well as for the development of drafts of the Code of Civil Procedure, TheConcession Act, The State Property Act, The Municipal Property Act, The Spatial Development Act, as well as their related regulations and etc.
Lawyer Milana Krivachka is the author of many articles in the fields of public procurement and state ownership, published in Bulgarian Lawyer magazine, Market and Law magazine, Tax Observer magazine, Law without Borders magazine, Modern Law magazine, Trade and Competitive Law magazine, Daga magazine and others. She has been the head of a team of authors as well as a reviewer of the guide “Public Procurement Procedures in Bulgaria and the EU – easily feasible and profitable”, published by “RAABE – Bulgaria” (since 2006). Lawyer Milana Krivachka is co-author of “Public Procurement – law, regulations, rules with commentary regarding the amendments from January 1, 2009”, published by publishing house “Daga”.
Lawyer Milana Krivachka and Prof. Metodi Markov are authors on two books on public procurement, published in 2006 by the publishing house “Trud i Pravo”, namely:
- “The new provisions in the Law on Public Procurement”;
- “The new provisions in the regulations of the Law on Public Procurement”;
- Second revised edition of “The new provisions in the Law on Public Procurement” – 2008.
